Week 7 ESPN College GameDay Guest Picker Odds

Week 7 ESPN College GameDay Guest Picker Odds

For the first time in seven years, ESPN College GameDay will make its way to Seattle, ahead of Saturday’s showdown between the No. 7 Washington Huskies and No. 8 Oregon Ducks.

The game, which will be broadcast nationally on ABC at 3:30 p.m. Eastern, features two of the nation’s premier offenses — with Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. tossing 16 touchdowns to two interceptions, while receiver Rome Odunze leads all receivers for both teams, with 608 receiving yards this season.

On the other end of the Husky Stadium gridiron is a 5-0 Ducks squad that’s led by Auburn transfer Bo Nix, who has been a revelation himself in his second season in Eugene — throwing for 1,459 yards and 15 touchdowns (to one interception) this season.  Exciting times for those participating on college football betting sites.

As we approach Saturday’s top-10 Pac-12 matinee that oddsmakers at Caesars Sportsbook list Washington as a three-point favorite, U.S. Betting Report broke down the hypothetical odds on which UW alum could join Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso atop the GameDay stage on Saturday morning.

Which UW Alum Will Be GameDay’s Guest Picker?

The odds-on favorite to be this weekend’s ESPN College GameDay guest picker is former The Office star Rainn Wilson, who is joined by former UW player and fellow comedian Joel McHale at +450 to be on this week’s show.  If all of the best mobile sports betting apps were smart, they would all have these odds available.

Seven years ago it was McHale that got to sit in the guest picker seat, meaning Wilson could very well be the pick this go-round in the Northwest’s largest city. Other options that ESPN could go with are actress Anna Ferris, who we list at +700, as well as former NBA star Nate Robinson and Jeopardy! Host Ken Jennings, who are listed at +1000 apiece.

Former NFL southpaw quarterback Mark Brunell rounds out our list of possible GameDay guest pickers for Saturday, with the former Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington signal caller coming in at +1500 to be on this week’s program from outside Husky Stadium.

Regardless of which UW celebrity alum gets tabbed, America at large should be in for a barnburner of a contest between the Huskies and Ducks on Saturday afternoon, when two of the nation’s hottest teams do battle on the banks of Lake Washington.
